MICROORC is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the EU-funded project CATALYSE, aimed at strengthening communication, dissemination, and knowledge exchange across the European food innovation ecosystem.
Both projects share a common ambition: supporting the transition towards more sustainable, resilient, and safe food systems through research, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.
While MICROORC focuses on reducing food waste and improving food quality through microbiome-based solutions, advanced shelf-life prediction, and sustainable packaging strategies, CATALYSE works to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among food safety actors to accelerate the adoption and scaling-up of innovative practices and technologies.
Through this collaboration, MICROORC and CATALYSE will coordinate communication and dissemination activities, promote each other’s results and events, and create opportunities for dialogue between researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and other stakeholders across the food value chain.
By connecting complementary expertise and networks, the two projects aim to increase the visibility and impact of their work, contributing to a more integrated European innovation landscape for food safety, quality, and sustainability.
This partnership reflects a growing recognition that addressing complex challenges such as food waste, food safety, and sustainable production requires collaboration across projects, disciplines, and sectors.
Stay tuned for upcoming joint activities, events, and opportunities to engage with both projects.
