On 21 May from 10:00 to 11:15 (CET), the MICROORC project will host an online webinar via Microsoft Teams, bringing together stakeholders from industry, academia, and the student community.
The session will explore the role of smart labels and intelligent packaging in improving shelf life assessment and reducing food waste. Participants will gain insights into current technologies available on the market, as well as emerging innovations that may shape future practices.
The agenda includes an introduction to MICROORC, a presentation of existing technologies, contributions from SMEs (KeepIt, Blakbear, MimicaLab, and Innosentia), presentation of project results, and an interactive Q&A session.
This webinar is particularly relevant for professionals and researchers working in the areas of date labelling, food safety, shelf life evaluation, and food waste reduction.
